      Benchmark AOI definitions

      Look up any AOI type to understand what it is based on and how to draw them for the most accurate benchmark comparison.

      Image AOI types

      There are 5 different types of image AOIs with corresponding benchmarks. For any AOI, we recommend using the  AOI_Rectangle_Tool_Icon  Rectangle and  AOI_Polygon_Tool_Icon  Polygon AOI drawing tools depending on the shape of the element, and ensuring there is a bit of space between the element and the AOI border.

      •  Brand: The main brand or logo associated with the creative such as a logo, but not if the name of the brand is written out in a text element. Specific product names or logos are not included in this AOI type. If you are using the automatic AOI generation AI, there might be multiple brands detected, but we recommend using the Brand AOI type only for the main brand of your asset. To be more precise with this AOI, Brand should be drawn as a AOI_Polygon_Tool_Icon  Polygon AOI. 
      •   Product: The representation of the product in the creative. Non-physical products are not included in the benchmark for this AOI type. Product AOIs are typically drawn as a AOI_Polygon_Tool_Icon  Polygon AOI. 
        This AOI type is not available when any Service industry is selected, as this industry usually does not include physical products.
      •   CTA: The Call To Action of the creative, such as a text or a button prompting the viewer to respond or act. Note that navigation buttons or text is not considered a CTA AOI in the case of websites and in-context social media assets. 
      •   Headline: The headline of the creative, usually a single line of text that is prominent, often in bold or large fonts, and designed to grab the attention of the viewer.
      •   Body Text: Additional text in the creative. Disclaimers are not included in the benchmark for this AOI type.

      Video AOI types

      There is 1 type of video AOIs with corresponding benchmarks. Video AOIs can't currently be edited, but the automatic AOI generation AI ensures that there is the recommended space between the elements and the AOI border.

      • Brand_AOIType_Icon  Brand: The main brand or logo associated with the creative such as a logo, but not if the name of the brand is written out in a text element. The automatic AOI generation AI might have detected multiple brands, but we recommend using the Brand AOI type only for the main brand of your asset. The Brand AOI is always a bounding box.
