How to Use the Brand Kit Feature in Neurons

The Brand Kit add-on allows you to personalize AI recommendations by uploading your brand guidelines directly into Neurons. This ensures that all insights and reminders reflect your unique tone, visual identity, and brand values.

What is the Brand Kit Feature?

The Brand Kit is an add-on that enables you to upload your brand guidelines (PDF format). Once uploaded, Neurons will tailor AI recommendations to your brand's fonts, colors, tone of voice, and messaging principles. This helps you generate on-brand creative optimizations at scale.

💡 Use case: Want to ensure every AI suggestion fits your luxury brand tone and color scheme? Upload your brand kit once at the folder level and you’re covered.

How to Upload Your Brand Kit

1. Go to the root folder where you store brand-specific assets.
2. Click the folder dropdown and select "Add Brand Kit".

3. Upload your PDF (max size: 20MB).
4. The Brand Kit now applies to all assets in that folder and its subfolders.
5. If you already have insights generated, a message on the AI Recommendations Engine will remind you to regenerate AI recommendations.

⚠️ Uploading a new PDF overwrites the previous one. Only one brand kit per folder is allowed.

What Happens After Upload?

Once uploaded, our AI reads the PDF and extracts:

• Brand tone of voice
• Font names and codes
• Approved color palette
• Logo placement rules
• Brand values or messaging themes
• Other relevant information for the creative

The AI then uses this context to modify its recommendations, ensuring:

• No off-brand recommendations are made
• Reminders like "Use the correct headline font"
• More relevant copy suggestions based on your tone and audience type

💡 Reminders in the Recommendations Engine

With Brand Kit enabled, you'll now see a dedicated Reminders section within the AI Recommendations engine. These reminders are context-aware and extracted directly from your uploaded brand kit. They might include helpful nudges such as:

• "Ensure you're using the correct font family."
• "Brand guidelines recommend avoiding red tones."
• "Don't forget your approved tagline positioning."

These reminders are dynamically generated per asset, meaning even with the same brand kit, different media may trigger different reminders depending on their content.

Best Practices

• ✉️ Always re-run AI after uploading or replacing your Brand Kit.
• 🌐 Use folders strategically: One brand per root folder keeps insights clean.
• 📄 Ensure your PDF includes up-to-date brand guidance to maximise the precision of the recommendations.
