How to use Campaign Insights

A Campaign Insights report turns a set of Neurons-tested creatives into one summary: how the set scores overall, the strongest pattern across it, the biggest weakness, and what to do about each. Use it to review a whole campaign, quarter or market at once, instead of opening creatives one by one.

What you need before you start

  • At least 20 creatives that have been run through Neurons AI. A minimum of 20 keeps the patterns reliable. Reports use creatives you've already run, so creating a report doesn't use any extra runs.
  • Creatives that share one purpose: Brand Building or Conversion. Each creative's purpose is the one set on the Confirm Objectives page when it was set up. See How to Set Up Objectives in Neurons AI and Benchmark purpose definitions.
  • Creatives with their objectives set and no Update score or Rerun flag. Fix those and the creative can be included.
  • Creatives in an organization folder. See Private and Organization workspaces.

Create a report

  1. Select Insights in the left menu to open Campaign Insights.
  2. If this is your first report, select Create report. If you already have reports, they’re listed on the Campaign Insights page. Select Generate analysis in the top right to create a new one.

Step 1: Asset selection

  1. Under Choose an analysis purpose, select Brand Building or Conversion. Your files are filtered to creatives with that purpose.
  2. Under Your Files, select whole folders or individual creatives. Use the search bar to find a folder or file by name.
  3. Check the counter at the bottom. It shows how many eligible creatives you've selected, across how many folders, against the minimum of 20.
  4. Select Next.

Step 2: Provide context

  1. Under Goals & context, describe your objectives, target audience or what success looks like for these creatives, in up to 2,000 characters. This is optional.
  2. Select Generate Analysis Report. The report takes a moment to generate, so you can wait for it on the page.

💡 Tip: Write the context the way you'd brief a colleague: the campaign, the audience and the question you want the report to answer.

The strongest pattern across your creatives, with a short explanation and how many creatives already do it well. Under Assets driving this strength, you'll see the top examples with their scores. Select See all top-performing creatives for the full list.

What needs fixing

The biggest weakness across your creatives and how many it affects. Under Assets with the highest optimization potential, you'll see the creatives with the most room to improve. Select See all creatives with uplift opportunity for the full list.

Keep doing and Do this instead

Keep doing gives three actions to protect what's working. Do this instead gives three concrete fixes for what needs fixing. Each comes with the number of creatives it applies to.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need at least 20 creatives?

Patterns need enough creatives behind them to be reliable. With fewer than 20, a single strong or weak creative can skew what the report finds.

Can I mix Brand Building and Conversion creatives?

No. Each purpose is scored on different metrics, so run one report per purpose.

Can I mix images and videos?

Yes. A report can include images and videos with the same purpose.

Why can't I select some creatives?

A creative needs its objectives set and no Update score or Rerun flag. Fix those and it becomes eligible.

Can I include creatives from different folders?

Yes. Select as many folders or individual creatives as you need, as long as they share the purpose you chose.

Can I download or share a report?

There's no download or export option. To share findings, take screenshots or walk through the report live.
